I wrote this blog because I think that reading is fun, but not if you don't find your passion for reading. This is why I wrote this blog. I wanted to know....Does reading really impact your brain? I ask this question because I worry that people don't know how to read. I think about how not reading hurts our brains. It makes us have to work harder to be able to understand things. An example would be reading for job interviews and filing out papers. Someone who can't read can't fill it out. Then they end up not having a job. They just want to give up.
Reading is something that people learn to do when you are small. It's better to learn when you are small because your brain picks up a lot of stuff and it sticks. Your brain can adjust and grow. But some people don't learn till later. There are many people who don't learn to read. This is pretty bad for people today.
I think when you read this blog you are going to find a lot of different view points like read is good for you. It helps you do lots of things. There are people who think reading is pointless because it's hard and they just give up. There are parts of society that don't take reading seriously and that is a big problem.
